Changing

Warm breath above her neck,
Tight grip keeping her there.
An empty street,
Underneath the full moon.
Feeling his teeth puncture her skin,
She screams in ecstasy.
Light moans escape from her lips,
Knees giving out.
Feeling life drain away,
Collapsing to the pavement.
He's hovering over her,
Slitting his wrist.
Instructing her to drink.
Taking those first sips,
Passion floods her weakened body.
Her eyes glued to his.
Removing his wrist,
She licks her lips,
One day of slumber is all she needs.

The Way It Ends

Blood splashing on the tile,
An arm dangling from the tub.
Bubbles that float like clouds,
Now dark and crimson.
Beautifully crafted dagger,
Sunk to the bottom.
Eyes rolled back in the skull,
Mouth draped open.
Light ripples in the water,
Worthless breaths to a worthless life.
All love, guilt, and lies streaming from wounded wrists and a broken heart.
Finding this familiar face,
Turning away from you.
Leaving this reality,
Hurting everyone once again.
Silent screams escaping from a breathless body.
Chocking brain,
Beginning to drift away.
Nothing left behind,
Besides a blood stained corpse.
